Gord Bamford has rounded up the best in Canadian Country Music and Alberta Sports to attend his second annual Charity Invitational Golf Tournament, to be held at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club, August 6th and 7th, 2009.

George Canyon, Aaron Pritchett, Duane Steele and Jessie Farrell are just a handful of the recording artists that will be attending and performing at the two-day event. Cassie Campbell from the Canadian Olympic Women’s hockey team, Curtis Glencross and Jim Vandermeer from the Calgary Flames and Bryon Hill, Nashville singer, songwriter and producer, have all confirmed their attendance.
A Mega Media Prize hole has been set up for Friday August 7, so that media will be able to interview the various celebrities at the event. Casey Clarke will be filming the CMT Chevy Top 20 Countdown. Photography services will be provided by Bonnie-Jean McAllister of Ealanta Photography. Team photos and candid shots of the days will be taken.

All registered golfers will have a chance to play in the “Putt Zone”. Each player will donate $20.00 and be given three chances to putt and sink their ball. For every ball they sink their name goes into the “Mega Prize Draw” for their chance to win a LCD Screen TV.
