Hockey Alberta identified the need for the support of existing and the creation of more diverse hockey programs in our province. With the support of the Hockey Alberta Foundation & Teammates (sponsors, donors & partners), the Every Kid Every Community Grant program was established as a quarterly granting program to support hockey in Alberta communities.
Hockey is a great way for kids to be active, healthy and surrounded by positive leaders in their community. Keeping kids active in sport helps kids become more physically fit, creates a safe and fun environment and forms friendships through sport.
Together our goal is to have hockey accessible to every kid in Alberta regardless of the barriers. We are here so Every kid in Every Community can play hockey throughout Alberta.
As a not for profit organization, The Gord Bamford Foundation is passionate about supporting youth. As a Foundation we provide funds for initiatives that include or involve music, education, health care, sports, and multi-use facilities that benefit youth across Canada.
