An Exciting Live Auction Awaits Attendees at Gord Bamford Foundations’ Gala

Lacombe, Alberta – The Gord Bamford Foundation is proud to announce that Gord Bamford has been nominated for the Apple Music Fans Choice Award by the Canadian Country Music Awards. Fans can vote for one of ten nominated artists by visiting ccmafanvote.com. This in advance of hosting his 11th Annual Gord Bamford Charity Golf Classic is making for an exciting summer.

Just days away from the event, the main goal is fun and fundraising. With a goal of surpassing last year’s total of $393,534, professional auctioneer and entertainer extraordinaire Danny Hooper will be relied upon to auction off an exciting list of items on gala evening. Auction items include a Canadian Finals Rodeo suite package for 16 people, an exclusive 2019 Canada Winter Games Experience, and a Melissa Hollingsworth C.O.P package where the winning bidder will get to experience Skeleton racing first-hand with Melissa as their coach.

In addition to the long list of celebrities being auctioned off, star of Food Networks Dinner Party Wars, The Incredible Food Race, and Restaurant Makeover Chef Corbin Tomaszeski will attend and help the charity by participating in an auction package consisting of a 4 course meal that he will prepare in the winners home for them and their friends. This package has been graciously donated by Delegat Canada and includes a $1,000 decor and design service from ETC Decor.

Out of Calgary to support the event comes the famous Smithbilt Hats Company. They’ll be selling a special edition Bangora hat at the event and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Gord Bamford Foundation.

“I’m overwhelmed by the support we see for this event. Not only are we sold out year after year, the celebrities who join in and the interesting auction experiences make the gala a really exciting night for everyone. Even if you’ve been to the event before, you can rest assured they’ll be new surprises in store,” said Bamford.

As the main fundraiser for the Gord Bamford Foundation, it’s important the night go off without a hitch. Funds raised will stay in Central Alberta for the most part, and the remaining funds are always donated to worthwhile Canadian charities.
